Wal-Mart response and the REAL debate: Health Care

Wow my Wal-Mart email got responses from both sides of the spectrum, so I'll keep this short. I think a few subscribers missed the spirit of the message.

  1. Debt is bad. My house is paid for and I encourage you to work toward the same. Even though I can afford a mansion it is not one. It's 6 rooms because I have 5 kids, but if I only had 3 kids it would only be 4 rooms. I do not believe in waste (I did not overpay for my house or cars). Giving a 25 cent tip is not waste to me. Now if you want and can afford a mansion, go for it and don't feel bad about it one bit.

  2. Yes Wal-Mart is a stock that has gone up over the year. Yes the employees are "good people trying to make ends meet." I was not referring to either of these. My first job at the age of 16 was McDonald's because of my situation (being 16), but I did not stay there.

  3. My wife shops at Wal-Mart so obviously if I "hated" people that shopped there I would not like my wife. She is prudent, which is a gift, but like me she is learning to balance "penny pinching" with "make money" mentality.

OK onto the REAL debate. Click here to leave your comments on the new health care bill.

Helping you retire on time,

Big A

P.S. - Don't keep up with the "Joneses" if that hurts you financially, but don't feel bad passing them up when you do all the right things. If you work hard and reap the rewards it's OK to live the "high life" because you deserve it.

P.P.S - If you are offended by my Wal-Mart email most likely it's because you don't know my heart of wanting to help people in trading. One of the main things I have to coach my students with is having the proper mindset. If you are afraid to spend a little money in the market (aka: take losses) you will never become successful. I teach my students to be humble yet confident at the same time. This is a very important mindset that you must have to be a successful trader or investor. It's not contradictory at all once you understand it. Please watch all of my f.r.e.e videos here to get to know me and my philosophy. Even if you never join my six month mentorship I know they will help you. Here is the link:
