I have spent the better part of the past 20 years trying to learn how to trade using the different markets. I had some success, but many failures. I jumped from system to system trying to find a way for me to be successful. Many of these systems I did not understand, and therefore I had no idea what I was doing! Some used futures, some options, some forex, while others used stocks and options. The investing universe is vast and not kind to people who do not know their way around. It was a very humbling experience, but I would not change it. I took something from each system.
I came across the ETF Trend Trading system just as I was about to throw in the towel and let mutual and hedge funds run my accounts. I had read about trend trading, and realized that it is the style that I wanted to emulate, but I just could not find a trend trader that limited their loss the way that I would like. Then I stumbled across this site and the rest is as they say history.
The entire system just made sense to me. Waiting for the price to prove itself is the basis of trend trading. But what makes this system so great is the money management aspect. It is what differentiates this system from most.
I have been trading real money using the ETFTT system for about almost 2 years now and I am up overall. - I am relatively new, but I have orders placed in 3 Forex markets (using the ETF Trend system): EUR/USD, GBP/USD, & USD/JPY. I am actually in the market on a 5 BP in EUR/USD with a follow up add-on placed. Yes. I see great power in this system. I have seen many systems that show how to make money in a trending market. This is the first that does that and shows how to preserve (and/or even make a little) money in a channeling market. I am very excited. I feel like I can look at a chart and see something (i.e., possible long or short or stay out) that I would not have been able to see a month ago. It feels like I have a magical secret that is going to make me financially independent in a few years - basically what I have been searching for about 5-10 years now. I have bought a few courses in the past that sounded great, and I got really excited. But when put to the test, I found flaws or just a general sense that something smelled fishy. I have not seen or felt that way with the ETF Trend Trading course - even after putting on a few trades using the techniques in this course. I would tell those interested that I have found what I believe will be a system that could provide financial freedom, if the person was willing to take a small risk (or a bunch of 1% risks) and have the discipline to follow a set of rules without trying to impose emotional control (greed or fear). I would tell them that if they could do these things, this course makes more sense than college. In college you are trained to work for others. This course can train you to work for yourself and save the wealth for yourself - not others.

- Great mechanical system that can help find the beginning and end of a trend and extract as much profit during the trend as possible. It takes away the indecision as prices moves up or down. I've lost money in the past when it is difficult to distinguish between normal fluctuations and a shift in the underlying trend. - I've used the system to trade Canadian ETF's and stocks and it works really well. However you have to be careful of stocks/ETFs with lower volumes, also have traded other US stocks/ETF. - I have been using the system for day trading the Nasdaq, and some NYSE stocks. I use the daily charts the night before, and get some plans for the next day. I have back tested it and that is what really has me hooked. It seems on 15 min bars, it is quite powerful for day trading. So far, it has been great. The #1 thing has been to improve my self-discipline by using the Excel Spreadsheet to analyze and then layout the entire game plan for each trade before even considering doing it! Duh! That has helped curb the fear & greed impulses that plague traders along the way. By sticking to the plan I am not jockeying in and out and making stupid decisions. I am learning what it truly means to "let the market come to you"!!! #2 is that I continue to review to get all of the finer points of the system so I can make it mine. Each webinar or video review allows me to add a slightly better understanding of what the rules are & why they work.

Fantastic. It took about two weeks to learn the system (full time). I love the fact the system is based on PRICE, not a bunch of over optimized manipulations of price. I did some back testing and saw that it works....that said, with the criteria I am using to measure the service; back testing is only a part of the grade. In mathematics, systems are measured in terms of being "complete" and "consistent". That is what I was looking for and have absolutely found it and it is extremely powerful

Well worth the money, as long as you use the system. I had always thought that trading the stock market was akin to gambling. Now with your approach, it has given me a completely different perspective. Before learning from you I was totally against investing in stocks because I thought it was a sure way to lose money. I now have $85K in my trading account, plus I have signed up for the Options Course, so I think that speaks for itself! I am so intrigued that I have analyzed hundreds of charts from trades I've made in the last couple years. It looks like I would be rich if I had used your system. I find myself saying things like "I don't care what's on the news." "I have no idea what will happen in the markets tomorrow and I don't care." "I am willing to take the trading opportunities that the system gives me. If the market plays into my hand, I make a profit. If the market turns against me, I turn against it and get out." This course has really helped me both by giving me great technical rules to follow and by giving me the psychological mindset to be successful. To be honest, I don't think this course would have helped me a couple years ago because I was still looking for the holy grail of predicting the future. It just so happened that I was totally ready to listen to a great mentor when I bought this course. My ego had been sapped by a string of losses when I knew I should have been making money if I had control over my emotions. When I saw the ad for this course, it was the perfect time for me to learn a new way of trading - both mechanically and psychologically. I am aware that my greatest potential downfall even going forward will be the temptation to innovate to improve profitability and in so doing, I will lose the edge that this course gives. Funny how when I joined ETF Trend Trading over a year and a half ago - I did so because I had a "Gut" feeling that you were legit and doing things for the right reasons. The main reason I'm doing as much work as I am on this trading venture is both because I really love it (although I haven't hit the big time yet) and so I can spend more time with my family and help my loved ones......

I joined your ETF trendtrading course originally at the end of 2008. I made approx 30% return in the year of 2009. I was constantly being approached by some Forex promoters. I then went on to the Forex arena and decided to stop the monthly ETF updates.
I was very disappointed in the level of integrity from these Forex mentors and their service and support. My account also suffered to the point that I decided to stop trading. I knew I was making nothing but felt it was better than blowing out my account.
It then came to me that I was systematically making 30%/yr return folowing your system and thought (what's wrong with that?). I reordered your course and I just upgraded to the accelerated program.

I first linked-up with ETF Trend Trading about 2 years ago, and bought a lifetime membership. As matters turned out, I was not able to even make "a start" with it – and still haven't. 'Reason? In 2011, if was "fear" ... just as you describe it in your course.
And because I was afraid, I thought too much and so failed to ACT. In 2012, fear continued – but now it was compounded by "greed" ... just as you describe it. In 2012 I actually "acted" – but with another system, from another outfit, and it entailed options trading.
Unfortunately (for me), this "system" was nothing of the sort. Not only was it merely "signals", it entailed no manner of "RRR" or even "money management". Worse, the supposedly rigorously back-tested "secret algorithms" (technical analysis) underlying the trade signals were completely bogus.
Touted to provide "everything I needed to know" about options trading even as a complete novice, it took me less than 2 months for "red flags" to start waving. An allegedly "set-it-and-forget-it" advisory service, its "recommended trades" were an utter disaster (absolute losers) for the consecutive months of August, September, October, November, January and February. By October I was definitely trading "worried", by December I was trading "scared", by January I was "desperate", and in February I had successfully "blown up" two trading accounts (including my Roth IRA).
Fact is, all throughout these past two years I continued to read your newsletters and view your videos/webinars. The worse my situation became, the deeper your "warnings" sank in, the greater I appreciated your "lessons", and the more I personally gained from your advice.
Chalk me up as a living testament to the verity of exactly what it is that you strive so hard to convey to your audience: (1) mindset, (2) risk management, and (3) money management – I was just "wiped-out" (totally) for lack of all three.
This latest webinar – on your "Big Money" system – once again drives home EVERYTHING that a "trader" needs to know and do in order to be successful; i.e., "make money". Once again you are thorough, thoroughly consistent, and RIGHT ON!
Over time, I've noticed that you are devoting more and more attention to "mindset" – and innovating in your approach to this crucial topic. STAY ON IT! This time, you addressed at least three (new) "psychological" issues that can be disastrously detrimental to (particularly new) traders: (1) the "guilt" over wealth accumulation; (2) the "fear" of being a successful trader; and, (3) the critical element of "time-frame" in one's thinking – which essentially dictates one's entire approach to and ultimate success as a trader.
Frankly, I "learned" a great deal as to all three ... some aspects "new", some "reinforcement", and ALL (together) stirring my mind (yet again) in positive, constructive ways.
One result/consequence in particular has resulted. I recently became a subscriber to another trading guru. Short story is, I've decided to cancel. Why?
Your Big Money presentation caused me to realize that I'm STILL "scared money" looking for a quick-fix! Plus, it forced me to confront the fact that I am so broke that I cannot possibly "gain" through this service except through irresponsible recklessness.
FAR BETTER, it caused be to switch "Plan B" into "Plan A". Which is? I'll reach age 59.5 years come 17 Dec 2014, at which time I can "pull" the funds out of my employer-sponsored 401(k) without penalty and then do with it as I please. The "investment options" in this plan totally suck, but the "employer contribution" is 1:1.
So, rather then throw money at another "scared quick-fix" potential solution that I already cannot afford to pay for OR gain by, I am now determined to act to "contribute" all I can to this 1:1 401(k) plan, "actively manage" it to grow it as best I can until I am eligible to withdraw it around year-end 2014, and THEN put those funds to work in one of your Trading products – like your latest, "Big Money."
With "no fear" whatsoever!
How so? Because you have "proven" yourself to me time and again over the last two years that you are GENUINE in your mission to "help me help myself" – and then "help others", similarly.
Moreover, as you just so effectively "taught" me (today), there are definitely OTHERS whom I care about deeply. And the best – if not only – way for me to "help them" in future is to "prove" myself successful in my own trading activities a la Big A and ETF Trend Trading products.
I'll close by stating that I am a "Committed LIFER" to you and your personal mission via ETF Trend Trading. That's meant as Praise, Encouragement, and Thank You all-in-one..

*Customer review note: Not all students have trading discipline. Some students ignore entry signals that would have caused winning/losing trades and make nothing. Some students move stops and lose more money than they should have risked according to the system rules. Some students risk more than the rules state they should and hence make more. Some students sleep an extra 10 minutes a night instead of trading my system and make nothing. Just as no two finger prints are the same, no two students are the same even though they are all taught the same system. The point is my attorney told me I must tell you that the positive results you read above do not guarantee that you will make money. The exact words he told me to use were Results above are not typical, the average student uses my CD's and manual as bookshelf holders and never once visits my vast member's area and never fires their financial advisor. That last part was added by me.
